Q: Where is SMAC located? A: SMAC has a brand new State of The Art facility located at 421 Page Street Suite 2 (Lappens Business Center) Stoughton MA 02072 Q: How can I produce my own studio show: A: Visit us at the Studio become a member of our organization (FREE), fill out a program request form to get started. Then find a few people that want to assist to crew your show: run cameras, Direct the show, run the video switcher etc. Staff will train you on what it takes to get your show on the air. Q: I video taped an event around town and want to have it aired, how do I get it on SMAC? A: Bring a DVD of the program to the Studio and give it to the Executive Director: Steve Innis Only Non-Commercial programs will be shown. Be sure that you have releases for all those that appear on the video. We encourage a variety of programs, so get out there and shoot. Q: I don't have my own video equipment, is equipment available for me to use? A: Yes SMAC has equipment to lend out to our members. Become a member and take the required training classes and you will be able to take out cameras, tripods, microphones, light kits, etc. Q: I have an idea for a show, what do I do? A: Come by the studio and let the staff know about your idea, staff will assist you with getting your show off the ground. Q: I don't have any television experience, are there training classes I can take? A: Yes, Stoughton residents can become a member of Stoughton Media Access FREE OF CHARGE and take any class currently being offered. Check the training schedule for a list of upcoming programs. Q: My son or daughter goes to High School or college, do you offer internships for school credit? A: Yes, we have an internship program that allows students to receive hands on experience and learn all areas of television production.
