STOUGHTON RESIDENTS

Recently, the Stoughton Select Board has been very public about its efforts to either terminate SMAC’s contract with the Town or force SMAC into default. This comes in response to SMAC’s ongoing Federal Lawsuit against the Town of Stoughton, as well as certain Select Board members.

SMAC believes it’s only fair that residents hear the TRUTH. That’s why we’ve posted a link to our official Complaint (the legal document filed in Federal Court) on our website.

SMAC remains hopeful that a fair and reasonable resolution can be reached. However, some recent public comments made by the Town Manager, who is also a defendant in the lawsuit, are either incorrect or misleading. SMAC feels a responsibility to speak up, protect its staff, and
defend its right to share the full story.
