Girls basketball and softball coach Janet Sullivan, in recognition of her more than 25 years of coaching at SHS. Coach Sullivan, a former Stoughton teacher, and current administrator, is retiring following this school year. 

Stoughton High held its annual Junior Awards ceremony, honoring the "academic, extracurricular, leadership and volunteer work of members of the junior class." 

Sixteen members of the SHS Class of 2016 were recognized during an assembly held the morning of June 10, 2015 in the SHS Auditorium:

• Raj Patel - Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award from the University of Rochester 

• Kathleen Lapommeray - Boston College Book Award

• Vaciane Simeon - Brown Book Award

• Ariana Riske - Dartmouth Book Award

• Marie Therese Ikoro - Holy Cross Book Award

• Alyssa McGillicuddy - Princeton Book Award

• Andrea Keith - Regis College Book Award

• Darya Musatova - Rensselaer Medal

• Smeet Patel & Erika Paul - Saint Michael’s College Book Awards

• Mikayla Berteletti - Smith College Book Award

• Sara Vera-Cruz - Stoughton High School Outstanding Achievement Award

• Ava Siegel - Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award from the University of Rochester

• Elizabeth Slade - George Eastman Young Leaders Award from the University of Rochester

• Alexander Oliver - University of Rochester Xerox Award for Innovations & Information Technology

• Adam Potter - Yale Book Award

Students who received book awards or certificates from colleges are encouraged to apply to those schools. "While receipt of a book award does not guarantee admission to the college or university, it will get the recipient’s application a second look," according to a release from the SHS guidance office.
