Michael Sullivan (selectman), Sandra Groppi (school committee), and Adam Dawkins (town moderator), all first-time candidates for town-wide office, each won their respective races in Stoughton's Annual Town Election, held Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

Stoughton voters also re-elected both of the current chairs of the Board of Selectmen and School Committee. David "Spanky" Sousa came in second in the selectmen race, while Katie Pina-Enokian came in second in the school committee race. Five candidates were running for two seats on the Selectmen, and three candidates were running for two seats on the School Committee.
