![]() Peter Brown successfully ran a write-in campaign to win a seat on the Board of Selectmen. There were 899 write-in votes for selectmen and Brown received 893 of them. Brown defeated incumbent TJ Recupero, 893-824. Former selectwoman Cynthia Walsh finished in third with 569 votes. Meanwhile, Joe McDonough and Anita Hill won the two seats available on the School Committee. McDonough finished first with 1,380 votes. Hill finished with 1,343. Former School Committee member Dr. Erdem Ural finished a distant third with 727 votes. Total voter turnout was 2,355, or 13.1 percent of registered voters. Precinct 4 had the largest turnout with 456, while precinct 8 had the lowest turnout at 177.
