Stoughton Media Access has teamed up again with the Stoughton Public Schools to organize a live spelling bee featuring students from all five of Stoughton's elementary schools - the Dawe, Gibbons, Hansen, South and Wilkins. The 4th Annual SMAC All-School 5th Grade Spelling Bee will be held Monday, April 1 at 7pm at the Stoughton High School Auditorium. The bee will be broadcast live on Comcast 6 and Verizon 26 in Stoughton. It will also be shown on Facebook Live on the SMAC Facebook page. The public is also welcome to attend and cheer on the students in person, free of charge. After holding preliminary spelling contests, each school is sending four participants to the bee, for a total of 20 students. |
